Join Corteva Agriscience as a Project Engineering Associate in our Seed Operations Development Program (SODP)— a structured, two-year program designed to launch recent and upcoming engineering graduates into impactful careers in agriculture.

The SODP is more than a job - it's a launchpad into a career of impact. From day one, you'll work on meaningful engineering projects that directly support the design, renewal, and enhancement of Corteva's seed production facilities. Through rotations across seed production sites, you'll gain hands-on experience in engineering design, facility upgrades, construction oversight, and operations. You'll also strengthen your skills through industry-recognized training, including Dale Carnegie and project management certifications, while learning from leaders and mentors dedicated to your professional growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Engineering Design & Planning: Support facility renewal, upgrade, and retrofit projects while collaborating with project managers and contractors to ensure alignment with engineering standards.
  • Process Automation Engineering: Gain exposure to automation systems and technologies that improve production efficiency and reliability.
  • Project Engineering and Project Management: Develop skills in managing engineering deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resources for successful project execution.
  • Process Operations at Seed Production Sites: Learn operational best practices and technical processes that are critical to seed production.
  • Technical Engineering: Apply engineering principles to design and engineer innovative production process improvements and equipment selection that drive plant excellence.

Start Dates

January 2026 and June 2026 (ideal for recent or upcoming graduates, depending on graduation date).

What Skills You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, Chemical, Process Automation, or Construction Engineering, or a related field (recent and upcoming graduates strongly encouraged to apply).
  • Internship, co-op, or project experience in engineering, facility design, or construction is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn all aspects of seed production engineering and operations.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in both team and independent settings.
  • Interest in facility design, construction management, and operational improvements.
