This position will oversee a staff of contingent labor and employees to provide support to the manufacturing activities, including connection with external and internal resources.
Those support activities will include EHS (environmental, health and safety), production planning, procurement, project support and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Coordination of technical staff in charge of production planning, procurement, data entry and analysis, projects and improvement initiatives
Provide leadership and hands-on presence to ensure a safe, secure, and compliant workplace across the site, delivering outstanding EH&S performance and sustaining the License to Operate
Develop QC/QA procedures and ensure adherence to QC/QA procedures and policies. Monitor product quality for consistent compliance with the Quality Plan requirements and network with process technology resources if required.
Understand and support the production planning process and procurement activities in support of manufacturing to ensure safe supply of products in support of sales plans.
Ensure appropriate records, documents, and reports are completed as assigned.
Coordinate local team supporting SAP-S4 project implementation.
Support continuous improvement and special projects.
Provide back up to Production manager when required.
Various other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
BA or BS (or equivalent), in supply chain, engineering or related areas.
Experience in manufacturing environment and supervisory experience.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to lead and influence/collaborate cross-functionally.
Knowledge of Lean production principles, OHS and QC/QA management systems and processes, change management processes
