This position works across the location; however, you will focus on several specific areas (conditioning, treating, packaging, harvest, warehouse, etc.) as a process expert. This role will be on-site at our Corteva location in Rushville, IN.

Responsibilities - What You Will Do:

  • Review production schedules and assign team members to meet daily targets and production expectations.
  • Ensure employees are trained and qualified to perform assigned tasks.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve operational issues, and support employees in effective problem-solving.
  • Provide day-to-day coaching, performance feedback, and recognition to employees.
  • Coordinate harvest activities, including preparation, receiving, drying, and related processes.
  • Own safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and morale results for conditioning, treating, packaging, and warehousing operations on the assigned shift.
  • Build strong communication and working relationships with plant personnel, cross-site partners, growers, and vendors; partner with leaders to coordinate workflow and resources across departments.
  • Contribute to workforce planning and development, scheduling, and the annual business planning process.
  • Complete and maintain required records, documentation, and reports.

  • You are willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation: work Climb and/or work in elevated areas, Stand and sit for extended periods, work outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to fifty (50) lbs., and perform that involves repetitive motion and lifting
  • You uphold health and safety to the highest standard! You consistently help others and demonstrate adherence to safety protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure you and your colleagues go home safely every day
  • You are willing and able to work shift schedules and overtime (including nights and weekends) during peak season to meet business needs.
  • Work with operators to develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
  • You have a valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Possess a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • 2-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in operations, warehousing, production, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience coaching, training, and providing performance feedback (including counseling others).
  • Agriculture knowledge and/or background.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma Methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture, manufacturing, business or related field.

  • This position does NOT offer a comprehensive domestic relocation package
  • This role will be on-site at our Corteva location
