We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Specialist – Quality Sampling Lab at our Maxton NC site.

This role will be on-site at the Corteva location.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate the correction and/or resolution of site quality incidents, including- incident tracking, conducting root cause analysis, & managing action item entries.
- Coordinate and take the lead in site quality reviews, including- quarterly quality performance updates, quality audits, & annual management reviews.
- Work closely with a variety of internal personnel to plan for & create actionable production process orders for the production teams.
- Utilize SAP to create, troubleshoot, & close-out production orders.
- Print tags and prep other packaging materials for production runs.
- Ensure materials are available for production process orders and are properly consumed when orders are completed.
- Continually monitor operations for transactional errors and make timely corrections where needed.
- Model safety as the number one focus.
- Stay up to date on safety and quality documentation.
- Complete and maintain records in accordance with the Corteva Records Retention Policy.
- Keep VM boards up to date with accurate information, driving action items through metrics, and leading daily meetings.
- Perform a variety of tasks including analyzing and processing raw seed samples, finished samples, scale calibration, sample retention, and data entry.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- You have your High School Diploma/GED.

- You have strong interpersonal skills, including good written and verbal communication skills.
- You are experienced in Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel.
- You value the safety of yourself and your co-workers and will eagerly participate in safe work practices, on-the-job safety, and work safety programs.
- You are willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. and complete work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.
- You are willing/able to work a rotating shift and overtime hours including weekend work as needed during seasonal peaks to support production demand.
What Makes You Stand Out:
- Associates Degree.
- Previous experience in quality, production/operations, supply chain, agriculture, etc.
- Experience leading programs or processes.
- You are experienced in Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel.
