We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Specialist primarily based in Ridgetown, Ontario, with flexibility to work at both Ridgetown and Chatham locations.

What You'll Do
- Lead and coordinate plant operations including harvest, receiving, conditioning, treating, bagging, and warehousing to maximize material flow and efficiency
- Maintain standards for safety, housekeeping, attendance, operational discipline, and scheduled/unscheduled maintenance
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with the Quality Plan
- Ensure direct materials (bags, tags, boxes, treatments) are staged for upcoming process orders
- Assist in managing bulk and bagged inventories and product movement
- Ensure completion of operator preventive maintenance activities
- Support forward planning and smooth transitions between shifts
- Ensure availability of equipment and materials
- Provide input to supervisors on improvement projects, workforce planning, and development scheduling
- Ensure completion of required records, samples, documents, and reports
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects
- Assist technicians across production, warehouse, field, and logistics functions on a single shift
- Assume Shift Supervisor duties in their absence
- Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and site policies
Education
- High School Diploma or GED

- Strong commitment to safety, health, and quality
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using computer systems and digital tools
- Flexible to work overtime, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50-60 lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working in agricultural environments with exposure to dust, pollen, and plant allergens
What Makes You Stand Out
- Associate's or two?year technical degree in agriculture, manufacturing, operations, or a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of one year of experience in operations, manufacturing, agriculture, or a related industry
- Working knowledge of agricultural and field equipment (e.g., tractors, plows, forklifts)

The salary range for this position is $56,784.00 to $70,990.00.This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
