Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute parent characterization (PT) experiments in Central Luzon in alignment with Corteva's established standards and protocols. (20%
  • Implement yield trials (YT) across Central and North Luzon following Corteva's operational standards. (20%)
  • Gather and perform comprehensive analysis of PT and YT datasets. (20%)
  • Communicate findings from PT and PRT data to key stakeholders, including GSO and SPD teams. (10%)
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the complete end to end process lifecycle. (10%)
  • Introduce and apply innovative methodologies in PT and YT testing as required. (10%)
  • Perform data integrity (DI) assessments on all YT experiments to ensure adherence to research quality standards.
  • Potentially lead hybrid advancement meetings as part of extended responsibilities.
  • May also oversee and execute safety initiatives and programs. (10%)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or a related discipline.
  • Preferably 2-3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong agronomic expertise and field management experience, particularly in corn cultivation.
  • Proficient in basic statistics and capable of conducting data analysis using modern statistical software.
  • In-depth knowledge of experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation, with the ability to effectively present results.
  • Physically capable of performing fieldwork in hot and humid environments for 50-70% of the time.
  • Open to relocation and participation in training programs.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Holding CAAP and RPA licenses is considered an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
