Corteva Agriscience IT is looking for a talented Network Engineer to help scale and deploy Corteva's Network infrastructure globally. The Network Engineer will be a part of a team that provides mission-critical global connectivity for internal services and business applications, datacenter infrastructure equipment, and for 21,000+ internal users.

This role will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of the network infrastructure. This role will also be responsible for the planning, design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of both wired and wireless (Wi-Fi) networks to support the organization's connectivity needs. In this role you will look for innovative and creative ways to automate and scale our next-generation network architectures.

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a highly skilled team that designs and automates the deployment and growth of next generation networking products globally.

Key Responsibilities - What you will do to help us grow!

Network Design and Architecture:

* Design and implement network solutions based on business requirements.

* Develop and maintain comprehensive Wi-Fi network designs that align with the organization's requirements, scalability, and security standards.

* Create network diagrams, documentation, and maintain network topology maps.

* Evaluate and recommend hardware and software upgrades to enhance network performance.

Network Implementation:

* Configure and deploy routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network devices.

* Configure and deploy Wi-Fi access points, controllers, and related equipment following industry best practices and security protocols.

* Set up and maintain Virtual LANs (VLANs), VPNs, and other network technologies.

* Ensure the proper integration of network security measures.

Network Security:

* Implement and manage security protocols and firewall rules.

* Monitor network traffic for security threats and vulnerabilities.

* Respond to and mitigate network security incidents.

Network Performance Optimization:

* Monitor network performance and analyze data to identify and resolve bottlenecks.

* Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize Wi-Fi network performance to ensure reliability, speed, and coverage.

* Implement Quality of Service (QoS) policies for prioritizing network traffic.

* Optimize network configurations for maximum efficiency.

Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates and patches.

* Diagnose and resolve complex Wi-Fi network issues, including interference, signal degradation, and connectivity problems.

* Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions.

* Create and maintain network backup and recovery plans.

Capacity Planning:

* Forecast network capacity requirements and plan for scalability.

* Recommend network upgrades and expansion as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

* Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including configurations and change logs.

* Generate regular reports on network performance, security, and uptime.

Team Collaboration:

* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT support, system administrators, and security teams.

* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.

Stay Current with Technology:

* Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

* Continuously improve skills and certifications relevant to network engineering.

* Stay up to date with the latest Wi-Fi technologies, trends, and security threats to proactively address emerging challenges.

QualificationsBackground and Experience - What You'll Bring to the Table

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

* Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in network engineering and administration.

* Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.

* Several years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing wired and wi-fi networks.

* Proficiency in network protocols, wireless standards (e.g., 802.11ac/ax), and network security.

* 5+ years' experience as a Network Engineer in a medium to large enterprise working with Cisco technological expertise in DNA Center, LAN, WAN, Wireless, SD-WAN, VPN and CISCO ACI technologies.

* Experience delivering network changes using Software Defined Networking and Infrastructure as Code technologies and practices.

* In-depth understanding of network protocols including BGP, OSPF, IPSEC, HSRP, 802.11, 802.1x, SNMP and XXX.

* Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security.

* Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools.

* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.

Other Preferred Qualifications:

* Certifications such as RHCE, Linux+, or equivalent.

* ITIL, Agile, PMP certification(s).

* Operating in an Infrastructure as Product (IaP) environment.

* Experience with Cloud and Managed Services design and deploy.

* Experience in strategy, customer service, and internal consulting.

* Proven success in contributing to a collaborative environment.

* Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
