Description/Responsibilities
The Business Reporting Leader will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for data visualization and reporting to support the commercial team in making data-driven decisions. This leader will manage and mentor a team, support users and stakeholders, and promote customer-centric behaviors across the organization. - Business Requirements and Analytics: Gather and evaluate business requirements, develop standardized process charts and mockups, and create, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports to support analytics and business decision-making.
- Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Establish and monitor performance metrics for the commercial unit, identify and implement improvements, and regularly report performance to senior leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing leaders, data vendors, Commercial Operations, Data Analytics and Enterprise IT to align system strategies with business objectives and facilitate effective communication across business units.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of analysts fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional development.
- Budget Management: Oversee budget allocation and expenditures for data vendors, ensuring efficient resource utilization, maximizing ROI, and collaborating with finance teams to track and report on budget performance.
- Customer Data Privacy: Ensure compliance with Corteva's global and local data privacy policies and regulations and promote data privacy awareness throughout the organization.
- Change Enablement and Training: Facilitate demonstrations and training sessions, support new capability launches, and champion data-driven decision making to drive effective organizational change.
Profile
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Data Visualization Tools (or similar) with a strong background in producing reports using visual outputs. Agriculture Market experience is a plus
- Leadership: Demonstrated strong leadership skills with a proven track record of successfully leading teams, making project decisions, and ensuring timely system development.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in standard office and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, etc.); proficient in Data Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc); experience leveraging generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to enhance productivity and decision-making is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to commercial systems.
- Languages: English Advanced level is required.
