We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Multi-Craft Scaffold Builder to join our company at our Midland, Michigan production facility. This role requires a highly motivated person with scaffold building and modification experience who exhibits leadership skills, displays flexibility in working with others, has experience working in a chemical plant, demonstrates proficiency in electronic tools, and embraces an ownership culture.

This role will be on site at the Corteva location.
What You'll Do:
- Layout, plan, build, secure, modify, and remove scaffold as needed to enable maintenance jobs and small projects.
- Help develop efficient work process and continually improve work process.
- Mentor / train others as needed.
- Responsible for management of the scaffold inventory.
- Work in Maintenance Management System (SAP) manage schedules, order parts, track work orders, etc.
- Execute basic multi-craft tasks.
- Perform basic hand rigging of scaffolding and scaffolding parts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- You have your High School Diploma/GED.
What Skills You Need:
- You have 2 years work experience in scaffold building.
- You have a valid US drivers license.
- You have significant experience with and a solid understanding of scaffold parts, planning and building.
- You value safety and always take care to follow safety rules and procedures.
- You are familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with basic tasks such as checking email and entering information.
- You are interested in further developing yourself with a goal of becoming multi craft in the future.
- You are willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- You are a team player and willing to work with other trades to complete the job.
- You understand that delivering to our customers and doing so well is critical to our site viability! Due to this, you are willing and able to work a day shift schedule with overtime as well as being part of the on-call rotation schedule. This includes being willing and able to take calls during the week and on some weekends as needed to support operations.
