We are seeking a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to join our team at the Grand Rapids, Ohio location. If you have a passion for providing solutions and supporting a high-performing team, this is a terrific opportunity for you!

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure effective communication across work groups and shifts to ensure that scope of work is understood and complete and parts are available
  • Responsible for parts ordering and managing parts inventory
  • Maintain an organized parts storage area and record keeping of plant equipment in EAM
  • Complete field checks/audits to ensure proper job completion periodically or as needed
  • Prepare job package; enter data into SAP planning system documenting required resources, materials, and services
  • Confirm materials and resources are available and activate job/work order
  • Identify/solicit safety information and requirements necessary to safely perform tasks
  • Responsible for effective and thorough record keeping and parts inventory.
  • Develop relationships with vendors and order replacement parts as needed, while being mindful of costs when making material selections
  • Ensure compliance with Corteva codes/standards for all maintenance jobs
  • Consider constructability and maintainability when developing plans
  • Various other duties as assigned

Education:

  • You have your High School Diploma or equivalent

What Skills You Need:

  • You possess two (2) to four (4) years' experience in Logistics, Maintenance, Scheduling, or related field
  • You have a strong understanding of inventory management's best practices
  • You are willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation: Climb and/or work in elevated areas, Stand and sit for extended periods, work outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to fifty (50) lbs., and perform work that involves repetitive motion and lifting 
  • You are comfortable with technology and possess an excellent computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and are willing and able to learn other company specific applications as required  
  • You have high diligence can multitask, maintain an organized workplace and excellent critical thinking skills
  • You have a valid US Driver's License 
  • You possess good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers 
  • You uphold health and safety to the highest standard! You consistently help others and demonstrate adherence to safety protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure you and your colleagues go home safely every day
  • You understand that delivering to our customers on-time keeps us viable and are willing and able to work a rotating shift and overtime hours, which include nights and weekends during seasonal peaks to support production demand 

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Two-Year Technical or Associates Degree in Agriculture, Maintenance, Logistics, or related field
  • You have three (3) years of education and/or experience in operations, manufacturing, agriculture, or related industry 
  • Knowledge or experience with LEAN Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Continuous Improvement and Standardized Work

Work Authorization and Relocation:

  • This position does NOT offer a comprehensive domestic relocation benefit package
  • VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position

Site Dedicated (100% at Corteva location):

  • This role will be on-site at a Corteva location
