We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of our fleet and field equipment, primarily used in agricultural operations. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, excellent vendor coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage maintenance operations for diesel, gas-powered, and electric agricultural equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues across a variety of field equipment and vehicles.
  • Schedule and coordinate vendor services for specialized repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records and workflows using Microsoft Smartsheets or similar platforms.
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks effectively to ensure minimal downtime and maximum equipment performance.
  • Monitor inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; initiate procurement as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and preventive maintenance protocols.
  • Collaborate with field teams to understand equipment needs and usage patterns.

What Skills You Need:

  • Minimum completion of a trade school program is required.
  • Proven experience in fleet and field equipment maintenance, preferably in agriculture or a related industry.
  • Strong mechanical skills with hands-on experience in diesel and gas-powered engines..
  • Strong aptitude in troubleshooting DC electrical equipment, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
  • Strong communication and vendor management skills.
  • Valid driver's license, ability to obtain a class 4 or higher license; CDL preferred but not required.

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • 8-10 years of experience in a maintenance field.
  • Technical certifications in diesel mechanics, electrical systems, or equipment maintenance.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Agriculture research equipment and field.
  • Welding experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Smartsheets or other maintenance tracking software.
  • Experience managing a small team or leading maintenance projects.
  • Knowledge of agricultural operations and seasonal equipment demands.

The salary range for this position is $106,080.00 to $111,384.00.

This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
