Corteva has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Electrical-Mechanical Technician to join our organization at our Connell, WA production facility.

VISA Sponsorship is not available for this position. Relocation assistance not offered for this position. This role will be on-site at the Corteva location.

What You'll Do:

* Ensure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC, for process and facility.

* Perform electrical repairs and scheduled inspections of equipment, following the prescribed guidelines and procedures.

* Assist in ensuring compliance with the electrical safety program for the plant maintenance team.

* Service, troubleshoot and repair problems of any electrical/mechanical nature.

* Adhere to all quality systems & safety procedures including environmental regulations, OSHA, and PSM procedures in everyday work routine.

* Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes including addition of new devices, and hardware.

* Maintain condition of the plant shop and maintenance tools.

* Support Process Safety Management and location safety efforts.

* Conduct seasonal prep work including annual preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvements.

* Assure proper set-up, calibration, operation, and preventative maintenance of equipment, machines, and facilities.

* Utilize predictive maintenance tools to detect and remedy future machine failures.

* Create, continually update and train preventative maintenance plans for various equipment.

* Complete fabrication projects to improve plant processes.

* Maintain detailed equipment records and prints.

* Lead efforts to improve maintenance effectiveness.

* Other duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation:

* You have a High School diploma/GED equivalent.

What Skills You Need:

* You enjoy working on machines and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.

* You have a Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) electrical license (minimum requirement).

* You have a valid driver's license so you are able to drive a company vehicle when needed.

* You have a basic understanding and experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc).

* Heights above 25 feet? No problem! You are willing and able to work on elevated surfaces (with fall protection equipment, of course, because safety is always number one to you!).

* Chilly warehouse? Greasy machine parts? No problem! You love to get out there and be in the heart of operations with your team and work hard!

* You always are willing to help out and physical work isn't a problem for you…Passing by a team member struggling to lift something? Safety is your top priority, and you are willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations to help your colleague and/or perform necessary job tasks!

* You understand and know how to interpret the National Electric Code.

* You are willing and able to work overtime and on call hours including weekends during seasonal peaks as needed.

What Makes You Stand Out:

* A Journeyman electrical license.

* Experience with a E-Maintenance (or similar system) for work orders and parts inventory.

* Automation/PLC knowledge.

* Additional industrial maintenance work experience (to include production equipment - electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, instrumentation and controls, HVAC and general maintenance experience).

Salary Range The salary range for this position is $37.50 - $40.60 . This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
