Join the Technical Knowledge Solutions (TKS) Team to help translate science into why it matters for farmers. TKS is looking for a Technical Knowledge Solutions Graphic Design/Visual Communication Intern who has graphics or visual art skills and an interest in agriculture, science, communication, and education. We are seeking someone to provide artistic skills in illustration, photography, video creation, and/or graphic design to support development of learning resources. The intern will work closely with TKS team members to convert research and agronomy information into practical technical learning tools while utilizing adult education design and theory.  At Corteva Agriscience, we know that people are our most valuable resource, and farmers know that, too. We seek to serve farmers, not just sell them products, and we do that by ensuring our salespeople are empowered to answer technical questions from farmers and tell the stories of our product innovations.

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree visual art or science (or science communications) with an interest in agriculture.  Candidates must be enrolled in classes the semester following their internship with Corteva.
  • Demonstrated skill in one or more area of visual art such as illustration, photography, video creation, and/or graphic design
  • Preferred experience in creating content using AI-assisted software and editing tools
  • Must be able to relocate to Indianapolis, IN for the duration of the internship
  • Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for 10-12 weeks during the timeframe of internship (typically May to August, but a January to August timeframe would be considered for the right candidate)
  • Proficiency in Adobe products and common Microsoft applications including but not limited to Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships
  • Strong bias for action and demonstrated owner's mindset
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with assigned working group (teams)
