Job Description:

Join Corteva's Global Regulatory Affairs as a Global Registration Team Leader. This is a strategic role for a highly motivated professional passionate about delivering world-class regulatory support to Seeds & Crop Protection Businesses. You will lead Global Regulatory Project Managers (GRPMs) and provide strategic oversight to the Planning & Implementation Team, ensuring seamless coordination of global registration activities and resource planning.

 

The Global Registration Team Leader sits on the Global Regulatory Affairs Leadership team to provide a voice on the coordination and execution of regulatory strategies and on resource planning to deliver timely and predicable approvals.

 

What You'll Do: 

Program Implementation:

  • Lead and mentor GRPMs, fostering collaboration with Global Regulatory Leaders (GRLs), regulatory science experts, and regional/country managers to achieve timely and cost-effective product registrations worldwide. 
  • Oversee the management of regulatory strategy implementation, ensuring project priorities are met on schedule and within budget, and proactively communicate challenges to GRLs, leadership and High Performing Regulatory Teams (HPRTs). 
  • Champion consistent, best-in-class project management practices across technologies and teams, leveraging tools such as ENVISION for effective project tracking and seeking continuous improvement. 
  • Oversee efficient project planning processes via second level leadership of the Planning & Implementation Team. Drive improved ENVISION functionality and the utilization of historical data to identify trends and optimize time, quality and cost of execution. 

 

Leadership and Supervision:   

  • Supervise and empower professional staff, aligning responsibilities with critical business needs and individual strengths. Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and recognize outstanding contributions in line with Corteva's core values.
  • Build and retain a high-performing, collaborative team, promoting career development, succession planning, and a culture of excellence.
  • Foster seamless collaboration across diverse stakeholders and global functions, ensuring the team is motivated to be best-in-class within the industry.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and customers to gather feedback, drive corrective actions, and implement targeted training initiatives.

 

What Skills You Need:

  • Masters or Doctorate in agriculture, biological sciences or similar is required; industry experience is preferred). Other degrees may be considered if proficiency in critical skills is demonstrated.
  • Experience leading people in a highly regulated industry, preferably with proven track-record of success leading cross-functional, global teams.
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to work collaboratively and foster seamless teamwork of others across diverse stakeholders and global functions.
  • Excellent communication skills, which includes ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on several projects simultaneously, efficiently, and independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to manage without authority and resolve conflict.
  • A proven ability to guide individuals in the delivery of first-class project management.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and project management tools.

 

Preferred additional skills:

  • Agriculture experience.
  • Industry experience in life sciences, such as agriculture or pharmaceutical product development.
  • Experience in registration and regulatory affairs or closely related field, including government and industry expertise at international level.
