We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Testing Specialist Junior to join our team.

This role is critical to supporting our crop breeding programs by executing field trials and generating high-quality agronomic data. The successful candidate will contribute to the characterization and selection of superior genotypes of corn, soybean, sunflower, and canola, helping drive innovation and performance in our breeding pipeline. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Plan, setup, and execute field trials across multiple locations.

• Collect, manage, and ensure the integrity of agronomic and phenotypic data throughout the growing season. 

• Support the evaluation and selection of promising genotypes based on field performance. 

• Assist field equipment teams in trials planting, maintenance and harvest. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including breeding, agronomy, and marketing. 

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during field operations. 

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in field testing protocols and data quality. 
   

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, Biology, or a related field. 

• Basic understanding of crop physiology and agronomic practices. 

• Hands-on experience with fieldwork, preferably in crop trials or agricultural research. 

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in outdoor environments. 

• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours during peak seasons. 

• Familiarity with data collection tools and software is a plus. 
   

• Preferred locations to reside: Ameghino, General Villegas, America, Trenque Lauquen.

This is a fixed term contract for 1 ( one ) year.

Preferred Skills: 

• Experience with corn, soybean, sunflower, and/or canola trials. 

• High proficiency in english language (read, write and speak). 

• Knowledge of experimental design and statistical principles in field testing. 

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or data management platforms.
