Corteva Agriscience is seeking an experienced ERP (SAP) Lead - Manufacturing, Production & Quality to manage and guide a team responsible for delivering manufacturing, production, and quality solutions across both SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments. This role is pivotal in ensuring that SAP processes supporting shop floor operations, production planning, quality management, and manufacturing execution align with business needs, technical standards, and SAP best practices.
The ERP (SAP) Lead will play a critical role in driving system enhancements, process improvements, and project deployments, while ensuring ongoing system stability and user support. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring both technical SAP configuration skills and strong leadership capabilities to lead a team of functional analysts and consultants.
Primary Responsibilities - How will you help us Grow!
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP functional analysts covering PP (Production Planning), QM (Quality Management), and related manufacturing modules.
- Act as the primary point of contact for manufacturing, production, and quality SAP processes.
- Prioritize and manage workload for the team, balancing project, enhancement, and support activities.
- Foster a collaborative relationship with key business stakeholders across manufacturing, operations, and quality functions.
Solution Delivery & Project Execution
- Drive design, build, test, and deployment activities for SAP projects impacting manufacturing and quality processes.
- Ensure alignment with global templates and compliance with corporate IT standards.
- Own the solution roadmap for manufacturing and quality areas across both S/4HANA and ECC.
- Collaborate with business process owners, IT leadership, and external partners to identify and deliver process improvements through SAP functionality.
System Support & Continuous Improvement
- Oversee incident and problem resolution for manufacturing and quality processes, ensuring timely support and root cause analysis.
- Own the functional configuration and process documentation for PP, QM, and related modules.
- Identify opportunities to optimize manufacturing and quality processes through standard SAP capabilities, automation, and reporting enhancements.
- Ensure system controls and compliance processes are implemented and maintained.
S/4HANA Migration & Dual System Management
- Support migration efforts from ECC to S/4HANA, including fit-gap analysis, testing, and data migration.
- Ensure consistency between legacy ECC processes and new S/4HANA processes, minimizing business disruption.
- Guide the team through the complexities of managing parallel systems during transition periods.
Experience and Education - What you'll bring to the table!
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- SAP certifications in PP, QM, or S/4HANA Manufacturing are a plus.
- 8+ years of SAP experience with deep functional expertise in Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM).
- At least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations in manufacturing and/or quality areas.
- Experience in both SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (discrete, process, and/or repetitive) and shop floor integration.
- Hands-on SAP configuration experience in PP, QM, and integration with MM, WM/EWM, PM.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing small to medium-sized teams (3-10 people) in a matrixed organization.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps, MRP Live, Advanced Planning, and other S/4 innovations.
- Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, external partners, and global teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with SAP Manufacturing Execution (SAP ME) or SAP Digital Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of GxP and regulatory compliance in quality processes.
- Experience working in a manufacturing-heavy industry (pharma, chemicals, automotive, food & beverage, etc.).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum or Kanban delivery frameworks.
