Corteva Agriscience is seeking an experienced Logistics Lead for EMEA region

Position Overview:

The EMEA Logistics Lead is responsible for developing, executing, and continuously improving the logistics and distribution strategy for all seed import/export activities across the EMEA region. This role partners with key Strategic Partners including Procurement, Trade Governance, Commercial, and regional Supply Chain teams to ensure the efficient movement of goods in alignment with business priorities. The EMEA Logistics Lead will also lead a team responsible for day-to-day logistics operations and execution.

  • Lead, coach, support, and develop regional logistics employees in a manner that fosters collaboration, engagement, and teamwork aligned with Corteva Values.
  • Develop and manage the regional logistics network budget, ensuring cost control, and alignment with financial targets.
  • Serve as a key logistics point of contact for regional leadership and country leader, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Ensure seeds and goods are transported within the EMEA region in a safe, compliant, cost-effective, and timely manner.
  • Develop and implement a cohesive EMEA logistics strategy that supports regional business objectives and aligns with Corteva's global logistics framework.
  • Ensure compliance with EMEA regional and country-specific trade regulations, including import/export programs, documentation standards, and audit preparedness.
  • Collaborate closely with Procurement to align vendor management practices including lane establishment, carrier selection, service level performance, and rate approval processes.
  • Proactively assess and mitigate internal and external logistics risks such as capacity constraints, regulatory shifts, infrastructure bottlenecks, and carrier disruptions.
  • Lead contract negotiations and performance monitoring of regional supply chain partners and 3PL providers.
  • Support regulatory compliance efforts by providing guidance on origin/destination market requirements, duty assessments, proper classification, and adherence to Free Trade Agreements and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Ensure Corteva's EMEA seed import/export operations are fully compliant with applicable customs regulations and internal control policies.
  • Define, track, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain service levels and drive continuous improvement in cost and performance.
  • Execute regional logistics initiatives that contribute to improved service reliability, cost optimization, and operational resilience.
  • Build and maintain strong communication and alignment across logistics, supply chain, procurement, regulatory, and commercial functions.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of regional transportation management solutions and digital tools.

What expertise have you grown? What do you bring to the table?

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of logistics and international trade experience in the EMEA region, with strong expertise in seed or agricultural product supply chains.
  • Solid understanding of international logistics regulations, customs compliance, and distribution planning within the EMEA region.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships across regions and cultures.
  • Proficiency in ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen; ability to manage budgets, costs, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Experience with project management and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, LEAN).
  • People leadership experience
  • Understanding of the seed business and its unique supply chain and regulatory requirements would be an advantage
