Job Description:

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a highly skilled EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) and Maintenance Supervisor to lead all activities related to Occupational Safety, Environmental Compliance, and Industrial Maintenance at our Multi-Crop Production Plant in Planaltina, DF. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with local regulations, implementing corporate programs, and maintaining operational reliability across electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.
The successful candidate will act as a key representative for EHS within internal forums and corporate networks, driving strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of safety and sustainability across the site. This position requires strong leadership to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and coordinate cross-functional projects, always focusing on technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
This role is performed 100% on Planaltina Plant, reporting to Production Location Manager.
 
Responsibilities:
 
•    Lead all EHS programs and initiatives at the Multi-Crop Production Unit in Planaltina, DF, including Field and Plant Operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and corporate standards. 
•    Represent the site in internal EHS forums and networks, driving strategic initiatives and safety culture. 
•    Oversee maintenance operations (electrical, mechanical, automation) and ensure reliability through preventive and corrective programs. 
•    Act as site contact for capital projects, monitoring progress to meet timelines, budgets, and EHS requirements. 
•    Lead the Core AI (Asset Integrity) program, ensuring compliance for critical equipment. 
•    Develop and maintain business plans, including a five-year capital plan and a three-year maintenance plan with cost projections. 
•    Ensure accurate and timely updates of all required records, licenses, SOPs, and training matrices. 
•    Drive risk assessments, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives across EHS and maintenance areas.
 
Job Qualification:
 
•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental Sciences, or related field. 
•    Proven experience in EHS management and industrial maintenance within manufacturing or production environments. 
•    Strong knowledge of local regulations, corporate EHS standards, and maintenance best practices. 
•    Demonstrated ability to lead capital projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution. 
•    Experience with Asset Integrity programs and critical equipment compliance. 
•    Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, and automation systems. 
•    Proficiency in business planning, including multi-year capital and maintenance plans. 
•    Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills with ability to manage cross-functional teams. 
•    Effective communication skills in English and Portuguese (written and verbal). 
•    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with EHS and maintenance management systems.
•    Driver's License, Category B.
•    Availability for travel.
