Job Description:

Seeking a new and challenging opportunity to further enhance your career? Corteva Agriscience Research & Development currently has an opportunity for a Business Analyst Intern. This position creates value for the R&D organization by leading cross-functional projects, programs, and teams to generate sustainable improvements in research productivity and decision-making. The Business Analyst Intern partners with resources embedded across Corteva and within the R&D organization to create communities of practice and establish a culture of operational excellence.

Position duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the research organization to gather and document business requirements.
  • Work with subject matter experts to document current business processes and identify pain points.
  • Design and propose process implements, including workflow diagrams and standard operating procedures, to end-users to ensure solutions align with their requirements.
  • Develop low-code line of business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform to improve operational efficiency.
  • Create and maintain Power BI report to visualize and communicate data insights to stakeholders.
  • Participate in the implementation of new procedures and tools including training, documentation, demonstrations, and end-user support.

Job Qualifications

To be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Power Platform applications. Including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Proficiency in common Microsoft applications including but not limited to Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships
  • Strong bias for action and demonstrated owner's mindset
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate at all internal organizational levels
  • Ability to lead during times of ambiguity and change
  • Ability to interact effectively and confidently with senior management
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with SQL, Azure, or other database applications
  • Professional degree or business-related certifications a plus
  • Experience with project management or six sigma concepts and methodologies
  • Demonstrated business acumen, including financial operations or investment valuation
  • Experience with automation or other technology-related productivity concepts
  • Experience with experimental design, statistical analysis, and data analysis and visualization
