Customer Technical Support - Seed Applied Technologies (SAT)
Serve as the technical backbone of the Seed Applied Technologies (SAT) organization, providing expert support across commercial, R&D, and customer-facing teams. This role ensures the successful deployment, positioning, and technical validation of SAT products in the field, enabling Corteva to deliver differentiated value to customers through innovative seed technologies.
Act as the primary technical interface between SAT and the commercial organization, ensuring that SAT products are well understood, correctly positioned, and supported with robust agronomic data. This role drives technical engagement with customers and internal teams, supports product launches, and ensures that SAT solutions meet market needs and performance expectations.
Technical Sales Support
• Organize and lead field tours to showcase SAT product performance.
• Conduct technical meetings with internal teams and customers.
• Manage SAT Tech-hub stations to demonstrate product value and educate stakeholders.
• Provide technical training and coaching to sales teams and channel partners.
Product Positioning
• Collect and analyze local market intelligence to support technical positioning.
• Develop and execute data generation protocols to validate product performance.
• Translate technical data into actionable insights for commercial teams.
• Support the development of technical positioning materials and training content.
Market Development
• Design and implement pre-launch trials to support product introduction.
• Generate regional data to support product claims and positioning.
• Provide local market insights to inform portfolio decisions and marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with R&D and marketing to ensure alignment on product development and launch plans.
• Act as the technical point of contact for SAT-related inquiries from the field.
Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or related field.
5-8 years of experience in technical support, agronomy, or product development in the agriculture industry.
Proven experience in field trial design, data analysis, and technical communication.
Strong understanding of seed technologies, crop protection, and agronomic practices.
Ability to translate complex technical data into actionable insights for commercial teams.
Effective public speaking skills. Engage the audience in commercial/technical presentations.
Problem solving and adaptability.
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Languages: Local Language fluent, plus written and spoken English.
Willingness to travel extensively to support field activities and customer engagement.
