Primary contact for seed production which includes: Recruiting, developing, and supporting seed growers (acreage planning, training, quality control) as well as coordinating all field activities (allocations, planting, rouging, pest management, detasseling, defoliation, male removal, yield estimation, harvesting, and conducting research).
Supervises field activities, field staff and seasonal labor, and lead field safety programs. Provides agronomic and technical information to seed growers. Responsible for producing a reliable supply of high quality seed.
