Job Description:

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a results-driven Territory Manager to lead sales and market development for our Vegetation Management business in the Northeastern U.S., with a focus on Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia. This role will work closely with key distribution partners, applicators, and end-use customers to promote Corteva's industry-leading herbicide solutions for managing vegetation along roadsides, rights-of-way, industrial sites, and natural areas.

Location: The ideal candidate would be located in Pennsylvania and would cover the Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia area.

What You'll Do:

  • Sales & Account Management: Develop and execute annual business plans for key accounts, driving adoption of Corteva's differentiated product lineup where applicable.
  • Customer Engagement: Establish a regular cadence of sales calls to understand customer needs, provide product education, and communicate program deadlines.
  • Value Communication: Confidently discuss product benefits and pricing, ensuring transparency and follow-up throughout negotiations.
  • Industry Leadership: Actively participate in industry organizations, serving as a trusted resource and advocate for vegetation management best practices.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of Corteva's products and competitor offerings, enabling you to confidently articulate product benefits and application methods.
  • Problem-Solving & Support: Provide timely responses to customer inquiries, troubleshoot product concerns, and offer solutions that enhance customer success.
  • Site Visits & Performance Evaluation: Work with customers on-site to ensure proper product performance and recommend adjustments when necessary.
  • Market Insights: Understand plant communities and application methods used by customers, both with and without Corteva solutions, to provide informed recommendations.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry, Chemistry, Natural Sciences, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of sales or marketing experience in agriculture, vegetation management, or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of herbicide use in rights-of-way, forestry, utility, and industrial vegetation management markets is a plus.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a driving record background check.
  • Visa sponsorship and/or International Relocation are NOT available for this position.

This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
