Credit Specialist
The Credit Specialist will have several main task areas which require a full understanding of the sales to cash flow of the commercial unit she/he is in charge of: monitors performance of portfolio assigned, anticipates potential issues, keeps commercial organization aware of potential problems with customers, recommends and implement course of remedial action and improvement programs which drives cash flow/DSO performance of portfolio assigned, develops and maintains good relationships externally and internally in the interest of the ongoing and future business.
Functional responsibilities:
- Deep Business Understanding?.
- Voice of the Operational Credit Center within Strategic Credit Manager.
- To be the key contact for the business/customers interactions for the portfolio assigned.
- Perform detailed ongoing review, analysis and interpretation of KPI for the businesses assigned (payment performance, DSO, exposure on country risks, doubtful, etc.).
- Coordinate within the Specialist Credit Operations team a standard process to ensure ground rules across businesses?.
- Set up/lead and follow up Cash Calls with the business?.
- Ensure fluent and adequate communication channels are in place with the rest of Credit roles at the Center.
- Ensure Collection strategy and Risk Category are aligned with the business?.
- Ensure Global Credit Policy full understanding/ compliance and Internal Controls KCA´s execution?.
- Ensure full Delegation of Authority execution.
- End to end Order Hold process management. ?
- Identify improvement opportunities within the credit processes and set up action plans for implementation?.
- Active and customized Cash Collection Process for the portfolio assigned.
Knowledge & experience:
- University degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Credit, Finance or Accounting background.
- Minimum of 3 years Finance/Accounting/Credit experience.
- Business proficiency in English is a must; any additional language skill will be a plus.
- PC skills: computer literate, experience working with SAP, demonstrated ability to work with email programs, collection systems and MS Office tools.
