Highly skilled litigation attorney to strategically and efficiently manage our company's portfolio of legal actions in the agribusiness sector. This professional will be responsible for leading civil, labor, criminal and collection litigation processes, coordinating external law firms, and ensuring process optimization through the use of technology and legal operations practices.

The lawyer shall (i) coordinate and supervise external law firms, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency of legal actions; (ii) develop and implement effective legal strategies to resolve disputes swiftly and cost-effectively; (iii) utilize technology and legal operations tools to optimize internal processes, document management, data analysis, and reporting; (iv) stay updated on changes in civil, labor, and collection legislation, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation; (v) support internal teams with legal guidance and training, promoting best practices in litigation management; and (vi) draft and review contracts, legal opinions, and reports related to litigation. The lawyer should be a business-oriented, think strategically, and with the ability to recommend creative solutions to a high-growth business and multitask among multiple projects at the same time over various business groups.

Technical competencies:

• Languages: Portuguese (native); English (fluent). Spanish is a plus.
• Legal skills:  Solid academic background. Law degree from accredited Brazilian law school with excellent academic credential, including BAR registration in Brazil. Proven experience managing litigation portfolios and coordinating external law firms. Ability to identify, manage and mitigate legal and commercial risk in a corporate environment, multitask and to use the law to create commercial value. At least 7 years of practice.
• Advanced knowledge of legal operations, legal management tools, and technology applied to legal work.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and innovative professional.

Preferred Qualifications:

• In-house experience in multinational companies.
• Knowledge of the agribusiness sector and its legal nuances.
• Certifications or training in legal operations or legal project management.
