Job Description:

This role delivers expert analysis and timely intelligence for Corteva Agriscience Corporate Security by identifying security threats, risks, and trends to aid decision-making. The position serves as a focal point for corporate security threat intelligence, translating disparate information into actionable assessments and briefings for leaders and operational teams. Responsibilities include managing complex investigations—such as financial or trade secret theft—using public records and open-source tools, building intelligence resources globally, and performing security assessments across operational, physical, cyber, event, travel, and executive domains. The position also helps coordinate global executive protection, supports investigations with company resources, and serves as an investigative subject matter expert.

Occasional travel is required. Location: Indianapolis is preferred. This position offers a comprehensive domestic relocation benefits package.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Duties

  • Understand and apply the overall strategy and plans of the Corporate Security organization, leveraging expertise to ensure effective implementation and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Security leadership team to define strategic direction, set priorities, allocate resources, and develop operational systems.
  • Proactively engage with external associations and form partnerships with peer organizations to adopt industry improvements and best practices.

Core Responsibilities

  • Monitor, collect, and analyze internal and external threat data, trends, and events to identify risks and provide actionable intelligence.
  • Produce and deliver threat intelligence products (e.g., threat assessments, incident/intelligence summaries, advisories, and executive briefings) to inform protective operations, travel and event security, crisis response, and investigative decision-making.
  • Assist with coordinating executive security for the Chief Executive Officer and key personnel globally, including oversight of Board of Director meetings and special events requiring heightened security measures.
  • Lead investigations into trade secret theft, including evidence handling and preparation of reports.
  • Disseminate intelligence appropriately by documenting and sharing key findings with Corporate Security leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Assess global events for their potential impact on the company.
  • Identify threat trends and deliver informed threat assessments.
  • Advise on strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with peers and build intelligence networks as directed.
  • Qualify for and maintain eligibility for the Armed Security Officer (ASO) program, as required to support operations under the DCA Access Standard Security Program (DASSP), including completing required training and periodic requalification in accordance with applicable TSA program requirements.
  • Support additional Corporate Security functions, such as event security and facility safety.

Process Responsibilities

  • Provide input and review for the development and implementation of intelligence collection tools, templates, and resources.
  • Implement feedback processes to evaluate the value and effectiveness of intelligence products.
  • Assist in coaching and training clients and stakeholders on the relevance and limitations of intelligence analysis.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on intelligence tools and processes.
  • Support Corporate Security stakeholders in establishing threat intelligence streams within corporate tools.
  • Participate in membership and case development for company insider threat tools and processes.

People Responsibilities

  • Guide and support colleagues and partners to foster teamwork and build their skills.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers involved in the intelligence program.
  • Report major risks and incidents to upper management.
  • Provide training to the Corporate Security Team on how to use threat intelligence tools and available resources.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Experience

Requirements

  • Possesses over a decade of experience managing intelligence programs or projects in corporate, military, law enforcement, or governmental environments.
  • Has a strong foundation in a relevant field and possesses expertise in intelligence analysis.
  • Has spent at least five years leading complex investigations, including those focused on financial issues and trade secret theft.
  • Demonstrates experience collaborating with international law enforcement agencies and government organizations.
  • A bachelor's degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in federal law enforcement is preferred.
