Seeking a new and challenging opportunity to further enhance your career? Corteva Agriscience currently has a vacancy for a Contract Analyst on our Research & Development Operations team. The Contract Analyst is a valued member of the R&D Contract Administration team, primarily involving preparation of requisitions, maintaining databases, tracking purchase orders, and processing invoices.  

Responsibilities - What You Will Do:

  • Provide knowledgeable guidance and high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Gather circumstantial facts and coordinate resources to ensure efficient and effective issue resolution
  • Proactively coordinate with colleagues from Research, Finance, other internal functions, and offshore support entities to deliver results
  • Lead or coordinate completion of tasks and assignments including, but not limited to:
    • Receiving quotations and agreements from stakeholders
    • Ensuring documents are compliant with internal checklists
    • Entering requisitions into relevant systems and monitoring through approval processes
    • Confirming purchase orders match requisitions and addressing variances
    • Communicating invoicing instructions to business partners and providing necessary support
    • Updating sub-functional databases with key information
    • Receiving invoices from vendors, confirming that milestones have been met or that services have been received, and approving in SAP
    • Recording invoices in internal databases and tracking through the payment process
    • Initiating support tickets for delayed or rejected invoices
    • Reconciling SAP to ensure that all invoices paid are tracked
    • Creating financial reports from functional databases upon request

What Skills You Need:

  • Prior experience with contract administration or expense processing support
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in use of spreadsheet software such as MS Excel
  • Proficiency in use of communication and document-storage tools such as MS Teams or MS SharePoint
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet departmental timelines
  • Ability to collect facts, understand circumstances, and recommend solutions

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with SAP (S/4, PC1, PR2, PD5)
  • Experience with CLM, TRAC 2.0 Sophia
  • Demonstrated tolerance of ambiguity
