Corteva Agriscience is looking for an innovative, energetic and transformational Collaboration Engineer.

The Collaboration Engineer is a team member responsible for translating technical or architecture requirements into solutions. This includes supporting the transformation of the platforms with particular focus on product and ITIL service management, 24X7 availability, business continuity, high-quality end user experience, information security, and cost effectiveness. You will be the go-to expert for Collaboration-related matters, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our systems. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role reports to the EUCEE Lead.

The ideal candidate for this position has a proven track record of leading and deploying Collaboration tools and software in a large global, or multi-regional organization. The candidate needs to be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and highly matrixed environment. This includes working with ambiguity, creating operational maturity vs. having it already in place, and have successful experience managing operations.

Key Responsibilities - What you will do to help us grow!

Collaboration Infrastructure Management

  • Design, deployment, and maintenance of Audio/visual solution along with Microsoft software space. Implement best practices for system security, performance optimization, and monitoring.
  • Seek, embrace, and maintain strategic partnerships with product vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensures that product/service quality, response times, and availability align with business requirements and service level agreements. Maintain high levels of security, availability, performance, and scalability of infrastructure operations 

Troubleshooting and Support

  • Act as the escalation point for complex Collaboration related issues.
  • Provide on-call support as needed to ensure 24/7 system availability. 

Security and Compliance

  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard data and systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage the transition of products/ services from development to production and run and maintain support.
  • Coordinate change management, release management, and configuration management processes for the product/services they manage. 

Documentation

  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Maintain an up-to-date service catalog that outlines all available products / services, their features, eligibility criteria, and associated costs. 

Performance Optimization

  • Identify opportunities for system performance improvements and implement enhancements.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Establish, maintain, and regularly test robust disaster recovery / business continuity plans and processes for their portfolio.
  • Establish strong connections between the respective teams within IT. They should have a deep understanding of the interdependent relationship between infrastructure, information security and the applications/services.
  • Ensure personnel and infrastructure are in compliance with global, regional and local regulations (e.g. FDA, SOX, GDPR...). Participate in audits as required.
  • Develop and maintain close partnerships with associated functions within Corteva IT, including Software Development and Support, ERP, Enterprise Architecture, Portfolio and Program Management, and Cybersecurity.
  • Incorporate operational excellence standards into daily operations to continually improve performance by regularly assessing service performance, gathering feedback, and driving improvements.
  • Implement best practices, conduct post-implementation reviews, and optimize processes.

Education and Experience - What do you bring to the table?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in Collaboration systems administration and engineering.
  • Experience with Microsoft collaboration, Sharepoint, and office tools.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Crestron, Polycom, Neat, and Cisco).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent product management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong ability to engage with a global team and provide coaching and oversight.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks within the constraints of timeline and budget.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse technologies and techniques 

Other Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL, Agile, PMP certification(s).
  • Operating in an Infrastructure as Product (IaP) environment.
  • Experience in strategy, customer service, and internal consulting.
  • Proven success in contributing to a collaborative environment.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
