We are hiring for a Category Marketing Manager: Forage & Inoculants to join our team.

Main tasks:

• Understand the market needs and define a product concept guideline
• Be responsible of the Inoculants portfolio management
• Understand the Product Characteristics and Performance across different environments, crops and forage quality
• Train sales force, distributors, customers and other stakeholders on forages quality and animal nutrition topics, through training sessions and direct visit to farmers
• Develop and follow new innovative internal projects or in collaboration with external partners focus on forage quality, nutrition efficiency, digital breeding and livestock sustainability
• Management of data coming from the lab for preparing reports and presentation on nutrition topics
• Provide marketing/technical advice and guidance (training-information, presentations, public speeches), to the sales force and different other audience
• Provide internal and external technical support in the development and application of products and resolution of problems in animal nutrition
• Analyze, interpret and share data and results with Sales & Marketing teams
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Manager to the commercial campaign
• Be the local focal point for the EU Category Product Manager

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

• Master's Degree in Agronomy or Science of Animal Productions
• Previous experience preferred with an agricultural Company or University in conceiving, coordinating, executing, summarizing and reporting results
• Good experience in animal nutrition -knowledge in diets, forages quality and livestock management. Skill in evaluating data with statistical approach.
• Demonstrated ability to assimilate large amounts of technical information and to condense it into useable and understandable form.
• Good level of PC and new digital tools skills and ability in developing new competencies on different softwares
• Good communication skill
• Good coaching and training capabilities
• Ability to work in team
• Ability to network with external stakeholders (technical/academic, etc)
• Good English speaking and writing skills and ability to communicate appropriately with diverse audiences (technical skills)
• Willingness to travel extensively across Italy
