The EMEA Business Intelligence and Marketing Communication Teams provide Corteva with analysis, insights, and communication strategies that enable competitive advantage in the region EMEA.

 

On the Business Intelligence side, the teams identify trends and patterns impacting markets, competitors, and technology, delivering insights and recommendations that support critical decision making, product lifecycle management, and long-term strategy development.

 

On the Marketing Communications front, the teams develop and execute integrated strategies aligned with business objectives, helping countries across the region to plan, manage, and deliver campaigns across digital, physical, and hybrid channels. This includes driving customer awareness and engagement through media, events, and content, while ensuring consistency of our brands and messaging across EMEA.

 

The EMEA Business Intelligence and Marketing communications Leader will lead these two teams under the leadership of the EMEA Marketing Strategy and Operations Leader. The role spans CP, SAT, and Seeds, working in close partnership with the Regional Marketing Leader, Regional Portfolio Leaders, CUs and Country teams, as well as Global BU counterparts. The role is instrumental in enabling the Marketing and Commercial teams with the right insights, tools, and campaigns to drive effective decision-making, strengthen customer engagement, and maintain a competitive edge in both the multi-year planning cycle and long-term regional strategy.

 

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Provide line management and leadership to the Business Intelligence and Marketing communications teams across EMEA.
  • Guide the Business Intelligence team in delivering market intelligence, competitor analysis, market research, and analytics to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Lead the Marketing communications team in developing communications assets, executing integrated campaigns, and coordinating the Marketing communications network across countries in the region.
  • Assess competitor strategies and market dynamics for relevant products, translating insights into clear recommendations for regional and global leadership.
  • Drive business-critical processes and milestones, including multi-year planning, Investor Relations / Mid-Month Review, CWAF inputs, quarterly earnings, business updates, Black Box, and inventory tracking.
  • Ensure effective use of BI tools and data to generate timely, actionable analyses and support decision-making.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the AgTech industry and business trends through engagement with internal teams, customers, industry experts, and external networks.
  • Champion Market Intelligence excellence across the region, fostering collaboration and capability building with country-level teams.
  • Oversee the creation, localization, and delivery of Marketing communications assets, ensuring brand consistency while adapting to local market needs.
  • Plan and deliver integrated, multi-channel campaigns (digital, events, and content) that strengthen brand presence and customer engagement.
  • Build and sustain strong networks with media, agencies, and industry partners, while ensuring effective internal communication and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Collaborate beyond Marketing with Finance, Regulatory, CUs, and other functions to align insights, communications, and strategic priorities.

Key capabilities & skills

 

  • 10–15+ years of experience in Marketing, Marketing communications, Sales, and/or Business Intelligence, ideally within the AgTech industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Ag Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and delivering insights, campaigns, and communications that drive business impact.
  • Strong stakeholder management and networking skills, with the ability to influence across functions, regions, and cultures.
  • Superior analytical capabilities combined with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong knowledge of business intelligence platforms, tools, and data management systems.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and able to anticipate and address evolving business needs.
  • Comfortable working in a multi-cultural, matrixed environment with cross-functional collaboration.
