Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

* Managing and refining weekly laboratory and greenhouse bioassays, including setup, implementation, and assessment

* Assisting in the development of new screening methodology (lab, greenhouse) for the evaluation of biological insecticides

* Handling plant material and insects in laboratories and greenhouses (e.g., inspecting, sorting, staging, troubleshooting)

* Coordinating and scheduling laboratory resources to maintain an efficient screening process

* Maintaining compliance with requirements for handling plant material, insects, and pathogens, as well as safety protocols

* Collecting, managing, and ensuring the quality of data

QualificationsRequirements: What You Bring

* Master's degree in Entomology or a related scientific field, or a bachelor's degree in science with at least 2-3 years of related experience

* Experience with plants, insects, microbes, greenhouse and laboratory operations

* Demonstrated aptitude in assay development and problem-solving

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

* Self-motivated with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a desire to work in a dynamic laboratory environment

* Experience testing bioinsecticides in controlled environment conditions is preferred

* Working knowledge of molecular insect-microbe interactions, insect pathology, microbiology, and molecular biology tools is preferred
