Corteva Agriscience is offering an exciting opportunity for an Associate Analytical Scientist to join the Analytical R&D Team within Product Science and Technology. The successful candidate will conduct analytical studies that enable the development and validation of analytical methods supporting both new and existing agricultural products. This position is based in Indianapolis, IN, and provides the chance to collaborate with talented colleagues while advancing your career.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with project and analytical team members to efficiently perform experiments and communicate results to stakeholders according to required timelines.
  • Perform analytical studies in support of formulation development, registration, and production of crop protection and biological products.
  • Ensure that all data are generated and documented in a manner consistent with best practices and study protocols.
  • Process and interpret the quality of analytical data. Troubleshoot and implement analytical solutions for experimental challenges as needed to meet study requirements.
  • Transfer of established methods to QC laboratories and support QC team in troubleshooting activities if problems arise. 
  • Actively collaborate with the team to support the development and implementation of automated tools and high-throughput workflows to drive continuous improvement in analytical workflows and capabilities.
  • Support daily operations of the analytical laboratories by maintaining instrumentation and lab areas.

What Skills You Need:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related science is required. Two years of relevant work experience with analytical chemistry techniques is preferred.
  • Prior experience with LC, GC, MS and high-throughput techniques is preferred.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, and customer-focused environment.
  • Demonstrates flexibility to accommodate urgent projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to effectively interact with a diverse group of stakeholders and peers.
  • Demonstrates the value of environmental health and safety.
