Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Serves as India Sample Coordinator to support South Asia R&D activities. Provides support to Product Science & Technology (PS&T) scientists through the formulation samples forecast, preparation and physical / chemical testing:

  • Manage projects to deliver according to project plan, keeping alignment across functions on agreed timeline, notifying stakeholders of delays.
  • Organize re-occurring weekly meetings with the Aragen CRO staff and Corteva project team to ensure that all relevant technical information (formulation manual and analytical method) is shared, and project expectations are addressed.
  • Establish communication plan with Aragen CRO and Corteva stakeholders to track and monitor all stages of the formulation sample preparation projects.
  • Ensure that timely updates are provided by the Aragen Staff to ensure that all intermediate project timelines (Sample inventory, Batch card creation, Formulation preparation, accelerated storage, GPS testing, review and approval, Sample labelling and dispatch, etc.) are being met.
  • Ensure that all protocols and reports meet the appropriate Corteva guidelines.
  • Ensure the highest quality data is provided to Corteva. Ensure that final reports are available on-time.
  • Ensure all data, reports and summaries are submitted to internal central repositories (i.e. NetDocuments, Team Folder etc.) and originals archived at the close of the projects.
  • Keeps the raw materials and formulation samples inventory updated, ensures samples are labeled in compliance with EH&S requirements and disposes of materials with expired shelf-life.
  • Supports sample shipping in the local transportation, importation and exportation of experimental samples and raw materials.
  • Understands and follows appropriate EH&S standards, policies and procedures applicable to their job. Leads by example in the area of safety behaviors by promoting safe work habits.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Chemistry, Material Science or related field. Understanding product chemistry regulatory guidelines, GLP study, crop protection research/operations/manufacturing, quality assurance and quality control.
  • No prior experience required, but technical experience in academia or industry is a plus
  • Capable of acting and resolving issues independently. 
  • Performs duties with minimal supervision, actively demonstrates accountability by providing recommendations and or thorough analysis of options for issues/solutions.
  • Proficient in tools used within the work process.
