Product Chemistry has an exciting opportunity for an Analytical Chemist to join our company at our Indianapolis, IN site. This role is responsible for conducting studies in support of development and registration of crop protection active ingredients and formulated products. Responsibilities - What You Will do:

  • Perform analytical studies of various types of materials under Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) regulations in support of the registration and production of active ingredients and formulated crop protection products.  
  • Process and interpret analytical data. Troubleshoot and implement solutions for experimental challenges as needed to ensure study requirements are met. 
  • Ensure that all data are generated and documented in a manner consistent with GLP regulations, SOPs, best practices, and study protocols.  
  • Support daily operations of the analytical laboratories by maintaining the instrumentation and lab areas. 
  • Work closely with Product Chemistry Subject Matter Experts, Regulatory teams, and Analytical Research and Development to efficiently perform experiments and communicate results to stakeholders according to required timelines.  

 
What Skills You Need:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.  Degree discipline in Chemistry or a related science is preferred.  
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, and customer-focused environment.
  • Adaptable and responsive to urgent or shifting project priorities.
  • Highly organized with strong time management abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and peers.
  • Committed to promoting and upholding environmental health and safety standards .
  • GLP Certification is required and can be obtained within the role.
