Corteva Agriscience is looking for an innovative, energetic, and transformational AI Data Engineer.

Overview: The Enterprise Architecture (EA) team at Corteva is dedicated to advancing the strategy, design, and governance of our technology roadmap. We are constantly seeking new opportunities for innovation that align with Corteva's goals and objectives, and we work closely with our business colleagues to drive these initiatives forward. 

Role: As an AI Data Engineer, you will utilize your foundational knowledge of operational technologies and tools that drive manufacturing, supply chain, and R&D. Your focus will be on identifying opportunities for technological advancement and process optimization. Key skills include a basic understanding of technology, a willingness to learn, and an interest in improving business outcomes through the proper use of data and data platforms. 

Primary Responsibilities - How will you help us Grow!

  • Assist in developing and maintaining automated processes, applications, and system architecture in close partnership with functional leaders and teams.
  • Utilize AI and machine learning techniques to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Implement and manage data visualization tools such as PowerBI to provide real-time insights and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows and systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and data analytics to continuously improve processes and outcomes.

Experience and Education - What you'll bring to the table!

  • BS/BA degree preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of Lean/Six Sigma/Agile process optimization approaches.
  • Training or coursework related to AI/machine learning.
  • Understanding and experience in PowerBI and other PowerPlatform technologies.
  • Databricks, and CoPilot to drive decision-making and innovation.
  • Experience in using CoPilot and similar tools to drive productivity and efficiency.
  • Use innovative techniques to solve business issues.

Main Competencies

  • Willingness to learn and leverage AI tools in everyday work and how those tools can be used to aid others in the organization.
  • Familiarity with data structures and tools.
  • Understanding of software integrations, APIs, connectors, business logic, decision automation, and UI creation.
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn one or more contemporary scripting/programming languages (e.g., C#/.NET, PowerShell, Python, Java).
  • Familiarity with information management practices, SDLC, ITSM, ITIL, agile, and lean methodologies.
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving abilities: capable of conceptualizing complex problems and developing analytical roadmaps for building solutions.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings to generate ideas and make decisions.
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Self-driven problem solver with excellent analytical and technical skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills to articulate new ideas to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and varying levels of management.
