We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Supervisor to join our company at our Doniphan, Nebraska commercial corn production facility. You will never be bored on this team! As one of Corteva’s BIG5 seed corn production plants, we have a variety of tasks and activities year-round. The Doniphan team takes pride in the quality of our work and the safety of all of our team members.
Our Administrative Supervisor role presents a great opportunity to build administrative processes and implement best practices from other site locations. We are looking for someone to build a cohesive, cross-trained team as well as supporting employees throughout the location. Our ideal candidate would be a strong leader who is passionate about developing others and has proven change management experience. Responsibilities - What You Will Do:
How will you help us grow? It matters to us, and it matters to you!
• Supervise work of other employees (admin & plant ops employees).
• Assist with performance process with management.
• Documentation management.
• Lead community engagement and top talent recruitment activities for the location.
• Lead and organize plant activities and meetings.
• Be an active member of the location leadership team.
• Assist with temporary labor staffing for peak seasons with agency vendor.
• Prepare correspondence, documents, reports and presentations.
• Serve on committees and teams to provide administrative support.
• Data entry, including coordination and maintenance of the Seed Production Management System.
• Track expenses and may provide assistance input with operating and capital budgets.
• Manage Quality programs at the location.
Requirements - Who You Are:

• You enjoy finding top talent in the community and engaging community partners so we can hire qualified candidates into our business who have a great attitude and aptitude to learn what we do!
• Diversity is important to you and you value different perspectives and opinions!
• You are Associates Degreed or higher.
• You have 5 to 8 years of experience in Office Management, Administration, HR, Recruitment, or other related field.
• You do a wonderful job of leading a team of direct reports and have proven this with 2 to 3 years of successful leadership/supervisory experience.
• You understand we are here to deliver quality product to our customers and you know that sometimes means putting in extra effort during peak seasons. So you are willing and able to work overtime, holidays, and weekends to serve production as needed.
• You exhibit tact, discretion, and always stand tall to do the right thing. Considering this, you are able to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
• Creating a slick power-point presentation? Charting data in Excel to analyze trends? No problem! You are comfortable with computers, software applications, and can easily learn any of those you don’t already know!
Preferences – It Would Be Great If You Have:
• A Bachelor’s Degree.
• Have an Agriculture or Production/Operations background or knowledge.
• Project coordination or management experience.
• Records management skills and experience.
