We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our company in Valdosta, GA.  We are looking for candidates who take initiative, love to learn, work hard, and have stable work history.

Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

This role will be on site at the Corteva location.

What You'll Do:

  • Initiate new member integration for new employees and manage people changes process.
  • Perform general administrative work such as: ensure office equipment is functioning properly, distribute mail, monitor, order and track various supplies, organize events, plan/schedule meetings, submit various reports, coordinate travel arrangements, etc.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of management systems across the business/function. Including ensuring appropriate document management, records management, regulatory compliance, coordination of and follow up on corrective actions, compilation/reporting of data.
  • Interface with other functions including travel agency, IT support, food & equipment vendors, facility management, etc.
  • Utilize SAP software to order and receive materials and execute other SAP functions as needed for inventory adjustments, reconciliation, etc.
  • Serve as backup for the Production Data Analyst (PDA) as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • You have a bachelor's degree in business or other related course of study.

What Skills You Need:

  • You are able to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. 
  • You have a combination of 3 years of education/experience with office administration.
  • You are very knowledgeable and experienced in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • You have at least 1 year of experience using SAP data processing software.
  • You are able to work both independently as well as in a team-setting, able to multi-task and have excellent time management skills so that you can consistently meet deadlines.
  • You respect yourself and others and have a strong ethical mindset, therefore you are able to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • You have good leadership as well as organizational skills and are comfortable facilitating projects.
  • You have excellent written/verbal communication.
  • You are comfortable interacting in a professional manner both internally and externally as a representative of Corteva.
  • You readily seek opportunities to develop personal abilities and improve individual performance.
  • You are willing and able to work a primarily Monday through Friday day schedule as well as overtime hours when necessary to support business needs.
