The CLAAS North American Graduate Program is a 12–24-month professional development plan within our NA Marketing Department. Participants will combine practical work experience with specialized development opportunities in North America and abroad. Program participants will become familiar with CLAAS products, dealer networks, customer operations, headquarter functions, and business practices. Concurrently, participants will perform duties essential to the assigned marketing functions such as assisting with the coordination and implementation of marketing programs, providing feedback, making proposals, and leading the implementation of corrective action to achieve marketing and sales goals for CLAAS North America. Successful completion of the North American Graduate Program is preparedness for a professional role as a Marketing Specialist in North America.

 

The Product Marketing Specialist – Tractor & Implement (T&I) is a professional Marketing position responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for the Tractor and Implement product lines. This role ensures alignment between product management, marketing communications, and sales teams to effectively position T&I products in the market. Key responsibilities include content management, digital presence, sales activation, and promotional activities to drive product awareness and dealer engagement.

 

 

 

  • Manages and updates all T&I product-related assets (images, videos, brochures, etc.) in “Brandmaker”.
  • Ensures marketing content aligns with CLAAS brand guidelines and corporate messaging.
  • Ensures the update of T&I product pages on CLAAS.com, ensuring accurate specifications, messaging, and branding.
  • Works with corporate web teams to ensure consistent digital experience and optimized user journey for lead generation.
  • Implements SEO best practices to enhance product visibility and online search performance.
  • Develops, maintains, and updates all T&I product brochures, ensuring they reflect regional market needs (imperial conversions, competitive differentiators, customer preferences).
  • Adapts global marketing materials for the North American market, including customized messaging for dealer networks and end customers, in line with campaign messaging.
  • Works with design and print teams to ensure timely production and distribution of brochures and marketing assets.
  • Manages sales enablement tools (product presentations, competitive analysis, sales guides) to support dealers and internal teams.
  • Develops promotional campaigns, incentives, and lead-generation strategies to enhance dealer engagement.
  • Works closely with product management, sales, digital marketing, and corporate teams to align messaging and marketing initiatives. Collaborates with sales and field teams to gather customer insights and refine marketing strategies.
  • Conducts ongoing market research with product management to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitor positioning. Develops insights to support go-to-market strategies and optimize product messaging.
  • Supports trade shows, dealer events, and product demonstrations with relevant sales and marketing materials.


 

Note:  This position may be required to travel both by ground and by air as needed (up to 30%) in North America as well as some travel abroad; must have valid Passport & valid driver’s license with continuously acceptable driving history.

 

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Agriculture, Communications or closely related field preferred, not required, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales, marketing, brand management, marketing communications or business management experience. 
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing, dealer networks, and sales activation strategies.
  • Experience with “Brandmaker” or similar digital asset management systems, a plus.
  • Knowledge of SEO, web content management, and digital marketing best practices, preferred, not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret market research and sales data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create compelling product messaging.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and marketing automation platforms. Experience with InDesign software a plus.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Farm background and some experience with Ag machinery are desired but not required.
  • Must be self-sufficient with a proven ability to work independently and a strong willingness to learn.
