Job Description:
 

The Head of Retail Controlling and Accounting has direct oversight in the area of controlling, working capital management, financials, budgeting, and reporting for the CLAAS-owned retail dealership Delta Harvest Center.

•     Develops budgets and forecasts including monthly, yearly, capital, and long-term planning for CLAAS-owned retail outlets.
•     Analyzes budget to actual variances of the same.
•     Responsible for preparing and making recommendations for the P&L and Balance Sheet for CLAAS NA Retail entity.
•     Monitors financial information from DHC to ensure financial information has been recorded accurately.
•     Works closely with the DHC Senior Accountant on accurate financial reporting and data collection.
•     Ensures all financial operations are in compliance with government rules and regulations for both the U.S. retail operation.
•     Prepares all financial reports as required or requested.
•     Prepares month-end closings on a timely basis.
•     Interacts with internal and external auditors in completing audits and tax returns.

Your profile:

•     Bachelors' Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
•     5+ years of work related experience.
•     CPA desired, not required.
•     Knowledge of general accounting practice, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
•     Experience with Intelli Dealer (CDK) preferred.
•     Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and verbal.
•     Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency.
•     Must be able to meet deadlines and handle a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail.
