Regional Process Eng Sr 

 

The Regional Process Engineer drives facility optimization and operational process support across the seed facilities in their region. The Regional Process Engineer will be a support resource for long term capital planning and project identification. The Regional Process Engineer will be a key site leader and partner in Production System Implementation and sustainment.

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Regional Process Engineer Sr, are to:  

 

  • Participate as a project team member for medium to large process improvement projects;
  • Lead Opportunity Assessment phase of onePSS implementation;
  • Provide ongoing key process and operational support throughout the production season;
  • Monitor, trend and identify process improvement opportunities;
  • Participate in site VSM effort and provide ongoing A3 and data analysis support;
  • Partner with site, Automation, IT and Global Engineering team to ensure successful deployment of new technology and processes;
  • Partner with site leadership team to develop long term capital plans based on constraints and equipment condition;
  • Participate in NA Virtual Plant Network;
  • Collaborate with other Process Engineers to ensure strong network and alignment between sites;
  • Provides engineering support for seed processing facilities;
  • Problem solves production issues using Lean Manufacturing Principles;
  • Identifies value to the business through optimization savings;
  • Ensures quality is maintained to deliver products on time and in full;
  • Supports site process and personnel safety;
  • Communicates project information clearly Resolves conflicts.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline;

  • Good Analytical and problem solving (decision making) skills;
  • Collaborative team player capable of working well with people across all hierarchies internally and externally;
  • Good organizational and presentation skills;
  • Good interpersonal skills such as communication, listening, verbal and assertiveness;
  • Results driven with ability to manage ambiguity.

  • 3+ years experience.

 

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $93,883 to $135,000. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).  Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..  This  salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
