Operations Coordinator (Administrative Support) Huxley, Iowa

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Operations Coordinator (Administrative Support), are: 

 

  • Own and support operations pertaining to delegated area of expertise; including but not limited to Health, Safety and Environmental, contract management, field operations, plant operations, human resources, accounts payable, procurement and/or other areas defined by leadership;
  • Build cross-functional relationships to collaboratively partner with the business and effectively network within the network;
  •  Independently prioritize key tasks and responsibilities, considering seasonality of business; prioritize enterprise success over local enablement;
  • Own and identify communication needs to appropriate levels of organization, including peers, leadership, and internal/external stakeholders to drive strategic and operational efficiencies across operations;
  • Partner with key business stakeholders to define business issues and opportunities, highlighting significant areas of spend and continuous improvement;
  • Identify cost savings programs through capturing, reporting, and expanding across the production network to drive savings;
  • Lead and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction;
  • Manage cooperator, contracting, procurement and service relationships within relevant region, ensuring clear communication of corporate policies and procedures while meeting the needs and expectations of local vendors;
  • Clearly communicate, track, and hold teams accountable to developing and fulfilling Health, Safety, and Environmental training and Intelex (HSE metrics) requirements.

 

 

 WHO YOU ARE                                         

 

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

 

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • High School diploma or equivalent;
  • Valid Driver’s License.

 

 Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
  • Organization and prioritization skills and attention to detail;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Understanding of manufacturing/Breeding/R&D and/or desire to learn agriculture operations;
  • Ability to rapidly connect and analyze data; manage budget, finances, and contracts;
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical insights to precisely drive actions.
