Purpose

The purpose of the Business Process Analyst position is to manage and execute the successful application of systems and process improvement as well as ensuring functionality of all NA PS Planning tools to enable the achievement of strategic objectives for the Planning and S&OP/IBP teams. You will work as a bridge between the Planning organization and IT, translating Planning and S&OP/IBP business needs and capabilities to the technology requirements. You will monitor system availability and provide day to day support and communication to ensure business process continuity and issue resolution Partner with Planning functions and all Planning stakeholders to identify and prioritize process improvement and integration opportunities.

 

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building Planning capabilities in Supply, Demand and Distribution Planning as well as S&OP, Control Tower and IBP and Kinaxis. Guide initiatives around the tool optimization roadmap, ensuring communication, collaboration and alignment with all stakeholders;
  • Support all Planning processes & tools that enable $8B in sales of corn, soybeans, cotton and sorghum across 6k+ SKUs;
  • Support all Planning processes & tools that enable approximately $2.7B in sales across 500+ SKUs;
  • Drive development of solutions and assess opportunities for process automation, streamlined and simplified decision making.  Identify performance gaps across the Planning processes and collaborate with the teams to create/recommend solutions;
  • Develop and drive prioritized schedules for system enhancements and communicate effectively to all parties involved/impacted on a regular basis;
  • Ensure milestones for work streams are accomplished and overall committed timelines are met. Document all changes in scope or date of delivery and communicate updates on major milestones, keeping all stakeholders informed of progress and issues;
  • Establish standards, trainings and program governance in partnership with all Planning functions to foster collaboration and sharing of best practices;
  • Regional process owner for NA PS Planning systems (including but not limited to APO, DFS, IBP, CT, Seedbin) and SAP tools;
  • Lead regional planning systems as the business representative to the IT group for system strategy, system LRP, upgrades, issues and overall health;
  • Active participant in weekly/monthly strategy meetings to confirm understanding, alignment and ensure the needs of the Planning teams are met. 

Who You Are

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

 

Required Qualifications

  • BS or BA Degree;
  • 5+ years of experience in a Demand, Supply or Distribution role;
  • Demonstrated project management experience and the ability for strong partnering;
  • Prior experience managing multiple initiatives and working in a matrix environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in SCM, Business or Engineering;
  • Over 8 years of experience in a Demand, Supply or Distribution role.

 

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $99,872.00 to $149,808.00.  Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).  Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. 

This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
