We are looking for a Supply Chain Planner III to join our Monomers team in Freeport, TX.

As a Supply Chain Planner III on our Supply Chain team in Freeport, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and securing the timely availability of raw materials to ensure a reliable supply to the six integrated production units of our Polyamides value chain. This role is critical in maintaining production stability while balancing cost, inventory levels, and service targets. You will collaborate closely with Suppliers, Procurement, Production, Logistics, and Supply Chain planners. Additionally, you will play an important role in the month-end closing process alongside with our Controlling and Finance teams.

As a Supply Chain Planner III, you create chemistry by...

  • Developing and executing raw material planning strategies based on forecasted demand, safety stock targets, production schedules, and contractual obligations.
  • Monitoring and managing material availability to ensure uninterrupted operations, while identifying and helping resolve raw material constraints or delays that may impact production, as well as analyzing inventory levels and triggering replenishment actions or adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborating with Procurement to manage supplier performance, delivery schedules, and risk mitigation.
  • Supporting material master data maintenance, MRP parameters, and planning models in SAP.
  • Actively participating in supply chain initiatives, network calls, and digitalization efforts
  • Working closely with SC planners and Operations to support long-term planning, campaigns, and turnaround (TAR) activities.


If you...

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Have 3+ years of experience in supply planning, materials management, or production planning (chemical industry experience is a plus)
  • Are proficient in SAP (PP/MM or APO modules preferred) and Microsoft Excel, with experience with OMP or other advanced planning tools
  • Possess strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to manage complexity and prioritize in a dynamic manufacturing environment
  • Hold an APICS certification (preferred)
