We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Performance Materials team in Wyandotte.

As a Product Manager of the Polyurethane Systems SBU, you will be responsible for the development and management of the assigned product portfolio to meet the financial and strategic objectives of the business for the entire North American region. This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to achieving business line financial expectations relative to product profitability, growth, and costs.

As a Product Manager, you create chemistry by...

• Demonstrating your solid business acumen, you will work to optimize the regional profitability of your assigned product portfolio, return on assets, and development of business cases for investments. You will also use this knowledge to define and manage cost/margin management initiatives.

• Your strong critical thinking and digital skills will be valued assets as you develop costing scenarios to support Commercial Management in pricing decisions and validate demand planning forecast and asset balancing for assigned products in alignment with the S&OP process.

• Successfully engaging across the business, work with production, supply chain, procurement, and commercial functions to ensure supply continuity, effective new product launch, portfolio management, growth of specified products, and asset utilization. Additionally, you will manage any allocations related to the product portfolio.

• Your excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills will serve you well as you lead product introduction and changes, including communication to various business stakeholders, operations, and procurement with respect to impact and requirements.

• Your strong organizational skills will be essential as you coordinate regional strategy development and implementation for an assigned product portfolio in alignment with Marketing and supporting functions.

• Effectively collaborating for success, you will coordinate with Supply Chain regarding inventory strategy/targets for product portfolio and collaborate with Supply Chain, Sales, Technical Service, Customer Care, Quality, EH&S, Procurement, Controlling and other support functions to drive initiatives.

If you...

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Have experience working in a customer focused role such as sales, marketing, product management, supply chain, or technical service.
