We are looking for a Maintenance Technician - Boiler to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Research Triangle Park, NC.

Site Services for BASF in Research Triangle Park is seeking a self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join the Maintenance Team in a research and development environment. The successful candidate will have the skills necessary to ensure proper and timely maintenance is completed, in a cost efficient, safe and environmentally responsible manner. The self-directed candidate will report to the Maintenance Manager.

During your time as a Maintenance Technician - Boiler, you will...

Must be able to operate, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance/teardowns on chillers, boilers, air compressors, and ancillary equipment and will work with boiler inspector for successful annual pressure vessel regulatory inspections.
Work in a team-oriented, multi-disciplinary environment that demands adherence to the highest level of safety performance and teamwork to perform routine, preventive, and reactive maintenance on plant equipment in all areas of the buildings, in a timely and efficient manner
Understand that Safety and Environmental responsibility is a major part of BASF's Principles. Must report all unsafe conditions and accidents immediately to the appropriate manager. Must know when it is safe to perform tasks or when it is appropriate to enlist the assistance of your team. Responsible for the safety of self and others.
Have a basic understanding of single and three (3) phase electrical systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and P&ID's
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and perform general labor work.

If you have...

High School Diploma or GED
A minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a research and development and/or industrial environment.
Professional trades degree or certificate from an accredited organization or school
NC Plumbing Class I License (Preferred)
