As a Maintenance Technician II, you will be responsible for coordinating all incoming work requests, ordering and kitting parts, monitoring leading and lagging Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and managing the critical and spare parts inventory.
During your shift as a Maintenance planner & Scheduler, you will
Support the site maintenance team by developing job plans and advance work schedules, managing Asset Essentials, and tracking maintenance work order KPIs.
Implement a Spare Parts management program using Asset Essentials, ensuring critical and consumable parts are organized, inventoried, and available when needed.
Coordinate upcoming work with third-party contractors, ensuring Purchase Orders are issued and all required certifications are obtained.
Identify and implement safety measures for planned work, utilizing the Site Safe Work Program and coordinating with key stakeholders.
Gather and properly file all relevant documents related to completed work, ensuring accessibility and organization according to BASF record retention policies.
Maintain effective communication with Department Managers, Team Leads, and other stakeholders to prioritize work and ensure alignment on maintenance activities.
If you...
Hold a professional certification in maintenance planning and scheduling, such as Certified in Maintenance Planning and Scheduling (CMPS) or Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP).
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
Bring over 5 years of experience in Reliability Centered Maintenance, building trades, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
Demonstrate hands-on experience in spare parts and inventory management.
Exhibit strong knowledge of general industry safety standards and compliance requirements.
Utilize Maintenance Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software effectively, with preference for experience in Asset Essentials. SAP knowledge is a plus.
