We are a West Coast based Poultry Equipment Distributor, www.alphaincag.com, looking for a Sales person to cover Montana, Idaho and Utah.

Alpha Inc. was established in Turlock, California in 1973. Although the original owners are now retired, our commitment to providing a comprehensive range of products coupled with dedicated customer service has continued.

Applicant must reside in Montana, Idaho or Utah. (The sales territory)

Overview:

• This position will be responsible for communication and cooperation, facilitating a close working relationship between the sales department, customers, Hutterite communities, and other internal organizations as required.

Essential Job Functions of the Position:

• Must have good communication skills with the ability to successfully work with both customers and internal support teams.
• Must be able to think independently.
• Occasional travel to corporate HQ in Turlock, CA to accompany customers and for training events.
• Trade show attendance and participation.
• Deliver formal presentations to customers when required.
• General customer support via email, phone and in person.
• Customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering exceptional service

Employment Requirements:

• Work Experience: At least 3 years of related experience (preferred but not required); exposure and connections to poultry industry with basic understanding of egg production equipment and sales.
• Language ability: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Essential abilities: Fast learner, team player, problem solver & can work independently without supervision
• Knowledge: Egg Production (Poultry) Equipment
• Must have reliable internet & cell phone service (company will provide a laptop with remote access portals)
• Demonstrated success in outside sales roles
• Employment Authorization: Authorized to work in the US.

Skills:

• Ability to use Microsoft Office programs, e.g. Word, Excel, email and PowerPoint, etc. Good verbal and presentations skills, effective communication skills.
• QuickBooks knowledge will be a plus

Work Location:

• Hybrid remote supporting HQ in Turlock, CA 95380 Covering Sales areas in Montana, Idaho and Utah

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
