Key Responsibilities
As a member of our Quality Assurance team, you will:

• Conduct germination and purity testing on corn seed in accordance with industry standards and internal procedures.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment such as seed counters, color sorters, dividers, and scales.
• Accurately document test results and maintain detailed records within the Wyffels quality management system.
• Assist with inventory sampling, sample preparation, and shipment for off-site testing.
• Help manage and maintain the organization of seed sample storage.
• Support summer grow-out plot activities including preparation, planting, and observation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to testing processes and workflows.
• Be open to learning new testing techniques and quality assurance methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Agronomy, or related field.
• Preferred: RST, RGT, CVT, or CGT certification (or willingness to obtain).

What We’re Looking For

• Knowledge of seed physiology and plant science principles.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to safe laboratory and field practices.
