Windrush Farm is a leading therapeutic riding center based in North Andover. Located on 38 acres of attractive fields and woodlands, the rural property is surrounded by conservation land.

The Farm Manager is a key position and comes with free housing. Salary is commensurate with experience. This position is essential to the successful operation of this non-profit organization that is focused on improving the lives of clients with disabilities.

Overview:

The overarching responsibility of this position is to provide a first-class environment for our therapy horses. Only healthy, happy horses can perform well in the programs.

Responsibilities:

The Farm Manager is responsible for quality pasture, weed, insect, manure and arena management. Other horse-related duties include morning feeding, night check and hay quality control. Maintenance of buildings, fencing, equipment, tools and vehicles is also included.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 yrs of farm operations or agricultural experience
• Comfortable around large animals
• Proficiency in operating farm machinery, vehicles and power tools
• Computer skills
• Valid driver's license
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Basic carpentry skills are highly desirable
