Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Forklift and semi-truck mechanic to join our maintenance team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of forklifts and semi trucks to ensure safe and efficient operation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.

A Sample of What You'll Do in This Role:
  • Inspect and service forklifts, semi-trucks, and related equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and coordinate repair schedules with fleet managers.
  • Document all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities accurately.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns, occasionally performing on-site or field repairs.
  • Follow all OSHA and DOT safety regulations while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance fleet reliability and performance.


What You'll Bring to the Role:
  • Proven experience in heavy equipment or truck maintenance (3+ years preferred).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair complex issues using computerized diagnostic tools.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate service records.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license (CDL and ASE certifications preferred).

  • Compensation and Benefits:
  • The base compensation for this position ranges from $24.28 to $32.36 per hour. Please note that wages may vary depending on skills and experience.
