Role Overview:

As a Lead Agriculture Plant Operator of our Night Shift, you'll work in all aspects of plant and warehouse operations including stocking and retrieving packages and bulk containers, driving a forklift, and general housekeeping. The role requires strong mechanical ability and aptitude.

A Sample of What You'll Do in this Role:

  • Move bulk fertilizer on trucks and railcars.


  • Maintain facility cleanliness and upkeep.


  • Conduct repair, maintenance, and safety checks on all facility equipment.


  • Safely operate equipment, including railcar mover , front-end loader , and forklift .


  • Wear proper PPE (safety equipment) provided on the job site.


  • Repair any damage or issues with equipment.


  • Complete required training and attend required safety meetings.


  • Ma y act as a resource or team lead .


  • Communicate with internal and external contacts to provide explanations, interpretations, and guidance as needed.


  • Influence stakeholders within the department to support operational goals and initiatives.


What You Bring to the Role:

  • 4 + years of experience


  • Ability to frequently climb ladders, work from heights, and lift or move up to 50 lbs. while working in a non-climate controlled and often dusty environment


  • Good math and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments


  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently


  • Willingness to work overtime hours during busy seasons


  • High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation and Benefits:
  • The base compensation for this position ranges from $25.48 to $34.01 per hour. Please note that wages may vary depending on skills and experience.
